AT2 & Uber

Post by Snow-Okami »

I have been following this asset very closely since it's surprise release:

http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/uber-s ... ra.335493/

(at least for me) It also seems to have Alloy compatibility. I am curious as maybe this could be support by AT2 at some later stage?

:D

Hello Alfred,

Great to hear from you, thanks for getting in touch. Absolutely, support is planned to be included in one of the upcoming AT2 updates. Indeed, I have been keeping an eye on the thread and it seems to work with Alloy now, great stuff.

We will let you know as soon as it's available.

Thanks!

Oh you recognized me! Thanks Ricardo.

This is great news. I have been looking to purchase it for some time now, but didn't want to even touch it if it didn't work with AT2. :P Can't seem to live without it now.

We are currently re-vamping our entire environment as many things were redone. We have been shooting for a very ambitious 4-8k texture on everything - even small props :-O. With the few tests we have done with AT2, this is looking and working GREAT! The level of detail on even the smallest of things is unreal.

Will share some screens once we have something nice going :)

Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for the newest update. I understand the delay and hate to push, but I just wanted to know if there is a timeline on this at all so I can know how to plan for things ahead? I use Alloy's GGX deferred shader as our custom shader, but for all our materials I now only use Uber. Our environment assets has just been completed but I am waiting to begin building the levels as I want to set everything for AT2. :D

Thanks!

Hello,

No problem, we understand. Unfortunately we don't have an official timeline for UBER Shader support but it's definitely something we would love to support soon. We did make contact with the developer and we should be able to give you a better estimate soon.

Thanks!
