Is Amplify Color compatible with older IOS devices?

Hi, I love the plugin. It works great and exactly as expected on my iPad Air 2, but on the iPhone 4s and iPad 3, the colors get really crushed and have banding. Is there a setting that I've gotten wrong, or are older devices not supported? I've attached two screenshots as examples.

Thanks for using Amplify Color, we really apreciate it.

That's odd, it should work on older devices. From the image look it seems that the LUT compression values are incorrect, are you using separate builds or is it the same build on both devices?

It is the same build for both devices. I'm not sure if there are any unity settings that automatically change between devices, but I haven't set any to my knowledge.

Setting it to mobile makes all the devices match :D But there's blue banding artifacts. Can I fix the banding somehow?

Hello Clint,

Our apologies for the delay, this specific issue proved to be a bit harder to track down than we expected. Unfortunately we have quite the task backlog and one of our coders is currently away, it might be a couple of weeks until we have an update.

Our next step is to examine the actual shader work for possible issues, we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Just out of curiosity; using the Standard mode, do you still get the initial reported problem if you override the LUT texture compression?

Thanks for getting back to me, Ricardo. When I set the override for iphone to RGBA 32, it still has the original crushed problem.
