Light wrap in a shader

Postby Petey » Sat Jul 07, 2018 4:21 am

Hi there,

Image
I used to use light wrap a bit in shaders I made in shader forge it was kinda handy to soften things out a bit (for skin and that type of thing). Just wondering if something like that is possible in Amplify Shader Editor?

Thanks,
Pete

Hello!

You should be able to use our Translucency port to achieve a similar effect to the light wrapping in SF.

We also provide a sample in the AmplifyShaderEditor \ Examples \ Official \ Translucency folder that exemplifies how you can set up this port.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, thanks!
