'Hidden/SamplerNode': Shader is not supported on this GPU

Postby jake.carvey » Mon Feb 26, 2018 5:48 pm

Is anyone else seeing this issue in 2017.3f3 (Windows 10)?

Shader warning in 'Hidden/SamplerNode': Shader is not supported on this GPU (none of subshaders/fallbacks are suitable)

All my Texture Samplers in the editor are pink now...

Any thoughts? Updated drivers etc. today in an attempt to fix. Have tried deleting and installing ASE again from scratch - going to try that again next.

Nevermind - the issue was a WebGL only build target, with DX11 shader

Thanks for reporting back on your findings! Even though you can use ASE to create WebGL compatible shaders, we can't guarantee that they will work as expected as you may run into version specific Browser or Unity issues.

We currently don't have any active WebGL support tickets, be sure to let us know if you run into any problems.
