Impostors disappear at certain distance in VR

Im working on a VR game and we are using Amplify Impostors - they are superb!
The only issue we have at the moment is that at a certain distance they start to fade and then disappear. Any way to adjust that distance?
It is not due to LODG culling and Ive turned off dynamic occlusion on them
