Great need for performance profiling

I hope we will eventually see a simple method for gauging performance on a shader by simply adding the time it takes to "get through" nodes. Similar to Substance Designer.
Please please add this feature. My current workflow for profiling the performance of a shader isn't exactly idea or precise.
