Ricardo ( the ASE Dev ) here.

First let me apologize for the huge delay on our answer. Unfortunately we are a bit overloaded and only now we had the chance to take a look at what you sent us.


The problem over this template is that the initial Outline pass has the same LightMode as the Forward one. Only a pass of each light mode is called.

To solution is simple, the value for the LightMode over that pass should be set to Always, or the LightMode tag should be removed completely (which internally is the same).

Please notice that is not enough only removing the LightMode from the template, you must also remove it from the shader as the currently value is saved over the shader meta. (Go to the Node Properties for the Outline output node, Select Pass>Tags and remove the Lightmode / LightweightForward pair)

We've uploaded the template and shader you sent with that small modification.
