This seems like an advanced shader, after examining the author's references it appears to require additional scripting as well (

Scripting outside of the editor is outside of the scope of our support, however, one of the references shared (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHhxs12ZfSQ ) pretty much nails it down in regards to explain the tricks behind this sort of effect, so could you please elaborate on what specific troubles you're having on implementing it in ASE? We'll be happy to point you the right way but we'll need you to be more specific.
