Re: Light Direction issue

Alright, thank you for the info, I didn't realise the time was the issue.
I'll Implement my own then, as suggested.

Thank you again for all the help, have a nice day!

If you pan the image as you would normally do, it will result in the image getting more and more pixelated as it goes faster.
If instead you pan the image but keep the offset between 0 and 1, the ...

Re: Light Direction issue

Alright, I've just sent an email with a simple unity package, with which you'll be able to recreate the issue.

Re: Light Direction issue

Alright, thank you, I'll look them up!
Also, the clamp helped out a lot, but then I found that a remap worked better...

I still have the pixelated problem, though...

Re: Light Direction issue

After some time I came up with this other version of the nodes

Which made the situation better, but as you can see, the light has still a visible offset...

I also noticed that by blending two normals together, the light has a higher ...

Light Direction issue

Hi, it's me again.. :D
I'm creating my Custom Lighting for the ocean, and I'm trying to get the light to reflect on the water, but I can't quite figure out how to get the light direction right..

These are the nodes I'm using

Re: Refracted Depth Issue

Thank you again for the help!

Weirdly enough, I kind of accidentally bumped in the solution I was looking for (regarding having a more consistent depth, almost as if the camera was always pointing down), by simply playing around with nodes and by following some of my instinct..

this is the effect ...

Re: Refracted Depth Issue

Yes, that helped me out perfectly, thank you very much!

Quick feedback:
Today I found out that each time I want to download ,i.e. the ASE, I have to reenter the Unity order number. I think it would be nice if the website would memorise it after the first time.
Although, this remain one of the best ...

Re: Refracted Depth Issue

Hmm.. not quite.

What I meant was that If I do this

The code will end up like this

I though I could use the call mode to recycle them and end up with only one function, but I couldn't figure out how the call mode node actually ...

Re: Refracted Depth Issue

Thank you so much for fast reply and for the help!
The material you shared with me helped me a lot, but sadly it didn't solve my issue entirely.
I think that if you'll be able to add an input port to the 'Depth Fade' node that will accept the screen position data (I hope very soon), I'll be able to ...
