Replicate "Specular Highlights" option

Hi,

In Unity's standard shader there is a tick box option to disable Specular Highlights. Is there a way to replicate this option in an Amplify Shader?

Thanks
Sarah

Hello Sarah, good to hear back from you, hope you've had pleasant holidays!

In order to enable those options in a material with an ASE shader, you'll need to toggle them on the main node's properties as per the following screenshot.

Let me know if you have any further questions, thanks!

Hi, thanks for the reply. Hope you had a nice holiday too. :)

I don't seem to have that option, do I just need to update my ASE?

That might be the case, make sure you're using the latest ASE version, v1.4.2.001, currently available for download through our website.

We do release updates quite frequently, usually on a weekly basis, so make sure that you're always on the latest release by checking the asset store or our website, in order to keep up with new features and bug fixes.
